At a glance: camera processing is on-device. History is local and may be backed up by iOS. No account, advertising, or in-app analytics. Sharing and support email are your choice.
1. Camera and movement processing
SquatMark uses the front camera, with your permission, to estimate body pose and squat depth, count reps, and time a three-rep single-leg squat attempt. This processing takes place on your iPhone using Apple's on-device frameworks.
SquatMark does not save or upload raw camera frames or frame-by-frame pose data during normal use. It does not record microphone audio. Spoken cues are output from the app, not recordings of your voice.
You can revoke camera access in iPhone Settings. The camera-based test will not work while access is disabled.
2. What stays on your iPhone
The app saves local fitness records and preferences so that you can review History and compare eligible results. Records may include:
- Selected support leg, level, rep count, timing values, and per-rep measurement summaries.
- Attempt status, your confirmation, and reasons an attempt ended or was excluded.
- Dates, time zone, and randomly generated attempt and session identifiers.
- Device model, iOS and app versions, measurement-rule identifiers, and capture-quality summaries.
- A recovery checkpoint for an interrupted attempt and preferences such as sound.
These are stored in the app's local storage. SquatMark does not run an account service, upload your movement history to a developer-operated server, or sync it through CloudKit.
3. Retention, deletion, and backups
Local records remain until you remove them. You can delete an individual record in History or use Delete all history in Settings. Deleting the app removes its local app data; offloading the app may retain data.
Local app data may be included in iCloud or computer backups managed by iOS. SquatMark does not control those backups. Deleting records in the app does not erase earlier backups. Use Apple's backup settings to manage those copies.
5. Support email
If you email shelfsense.ai.inc@gmail.com, we receive your email address, message, and any attachments you choose to include. We use this information to respond to your request and investigate the issue you report. Support mail is handled through Gmail.
Support correspondence is retained as needed to handle and follow up on your request. You can ask for deletion by contacting the same address. Please avoid sending unnecessary personal or sensitive information. We cannot remotely retrieve or delete History that exists only on your iPhone.

7. Advertising and analytics
SquatMark does not include advertising, cross-app tracking, or third-party analytics SDKs. The app does not send movement records or custom analytics to us. Apple may process device backups or system diagnostics according to your device settings and Apple's policies.
